Just a rumor that was seen posted by MarikLaw over on Warseer.
Matt Ward will be doing Codex: Orks.
What do you guys think will be the fate of our favorite greenskins in the hands of this madman if this rumor is true?

Excellent. That means a new Ork codex and new models.

Win!

I dont think Ward can top a Warboss killing a Titan by jumping his bike into the cockpit. With that being said, I think he would be a fine choice fluff-wise. The rules dont need much work beyond buffing Flash Gits, rumored new ICs, and hopefully deep strike Rokks.

Fingers crossed that Ward somehow sees that post and says "Challenge accepted". EPIC! lol

Seriously though, I think he would be a good fit for that dex. Could be interesting if true.

Edit: I just googled ablutions and apparently it does not including dropping a duece. I should have looked it up early sorry for any confusion. - Baldsmug

Psiensis on the "good old days":
"Kids these days...
... I invented the 6th Ed meta back in 3rd ed.
Wait, what were we talking about again? Did I ever tell you about the time I gave you five bees for a quarter? That's what you'd say in those days, "give me five bees for a quarter", is what you'd say in those days. And you'd go down to the D&D shop, with an onion in your belt, 'cause that was the style of the time. So there I was in the D&D shop..."

1 of 2 things will happen, either 1, Mat Ward plays to GW wanting people to buy new models and the orks become tier 1, (imagine shoota boyz with BS3 :O )

or more likely, since mat ward is a necron and ultramarine player, he will nerf them so that he has an even easier time killing them with his armies.
