Ha! Nice rename. I was a bit worried that a certain company might not like the name Battlegroup: Normandy (something to do with Kampfgruppes, and the like). As for me, I've got a platoon of 15mm Brits lined up in the painting queue, right after I finish all these French-Indian War miniatures.

This should be released around the same time as the smaller rulebook, correct?

Ooh this looks nice. I've not played BGK as I mainly game in North West Europe But I may well splash out on this.

I'm planing some Eastern Front action later this year, but I'm going for early war instead becuase of all those cheap as chips Zvezda kits.

Theres a typo in the Poster. It's Fallschirmjäger not Fallshirmjäger.

Piers, a couple of questions for you, when you get the chance:

Concerning tanks, have either you or any of the other BGseries players found that 'sweet spot' of just how many tanks a single player can run? Since 4 of the OoBs in the book are tank-based, is it safe to assume that two players can duke it out with a full company each and not suffer too many headaches?

And Challengers. If memory serves, they arrived in Normandy in mid-August. Any chance that we'll see them in the British Armoured OoB?

Yes there is an option to take a challenger.

You could field a fair few tanks easily, but the game is more designed for combined arms warfare. That said we have fielded 10-15 tanks in a game with no issues.

For Normandy my armies field fewer tanks than Kursk as the terrain tends to be closer.
