YOU ARE MISSING AN HQ!!!
Get that in line! Also, list appropriate upgrades and if your units are different from each other, list them separately not "30 marines"!
But seriously, you have to have an HQ, it is said in every fething codex!

I approve. A librarian, vanilla with Null Zone and Avenger. Alternatively, swap either one for Gate of Infinity, as the vanilla merine codex version doesn't use more than one warp charge

alright,
as said above, you need a leader - an HQ. and as said above too, I suggest a librarian - assuming you use C:SM and not BA, DA, SW, GK or others.
the way I kit my librarian is with terminator armour and storm shield and a force staff. then I give him avenger and either null zone or might of the ancients. machine curse could be funny with hull points nowadays....
then going on, troops is the next point you need to take care of. you may have 30 marines, but in 1000 points it'll be too much - no more room for the goodyness - so I suggest you take 2 tacticals squads and keep them cheap, a missile launcher and a flamer/melta should do. as for the captain, I prefer just a stormbolter, but I play very shooty lists, so that personal preference.
next to these tactical squads I strongly recommend some razorbacks, but I saw you didn't have them, so lets forget them for now. :(
then look at the elites section, giving 2 dreads and 5 termies. wich is great, but I do not know what upgrades you gave them. and are the termies the shooty ones or the CC ones? this can make a great difference in how to use them. but as for now, I assume the dread will have some assaultcannon/multimelta shooty option on them and can walk up along as support unit, if the termies are shooty they can do the same - if CC, deepstrike them next to your most valuable enemy target - this will keep the rest of your army alive for another turn.
then I see assault marines, and only 5 of them.. this will be tricky. they die too quickly to let them take out something on their own, so they need some good support.. or you could use the mas harassment unit..
the devastators are great they give some ranged support, and in BGNT they will be scoring!
all in all, this is a great startup, but you lack (besides mandatory HQ) some tanks/drop pods. I recommend razorbacks, vindicators, landspeeders as great vehicles to support your main army with ranged fire and distraction units. also a VERY good option is the thunderfire cannon.
as far as I would consider fast attack, I'd pick landspeeders, or bikes, but assault marines are only good when fielded in big blobs, totally focussed to CC, in wich case I recommend BA...
also, with the leftover tactical marines, you could consider converting them to sternguards, a very viable option, but your elite section is quite filled already :( maybe a master of the forge could help you ( he makes dreads heavy support)
I hope this helped, and good luck!
Humey.

Thanks for the responses
i didn't notice i that missed the HQ lol
sorry about that. i have both a libriain and a captain
The dreads and termies are from the battle for black reach box so the dread as a multimelta and close combat weapon while the termies have power fists and storm bolters
I also managed the hunt down a razor back.

Good, good, now make a list featuring any of those units you'd like to try out first. (If you're a new player I mean.) I advice to keep it sensible and also think about how well they'll play together (tip: dreads always play together, with anything).
Make the list clear, list all appropriate upgrades you'll take and add point costs for each unit (total, not each upgrade).
Then we'll help you out if some "flaws" are seen. Or if someone thinks they have an alternate idea.
This is all, if you're a new player. I believed so, since you don't seem to have many models.
EDIT: Ok, I re-read the OP. I guess that means you now the drill ! But for 1k I'd take devastators and a Libby, and then spice it up with whatever you wish
