p.s. + idea's
I have an teammate with me with an army (didn't choose yet maybe Nids (one of the tournament rule all allies of convenience))
So they general idea is if he goes nids that he has one unit in the back on a objective. rest footsluggers. I drop in melta away tanks so they think im a bigger threat they shoot on my GH 1 and GH 2 and hopefully charge them in their turn then in turn two i hope i get my last pod in then i do some RP stuff and kill stuff you know, by the time he wil be in range to charge and becouse i popped their tanks he does not have to worry about killing tanks first. and then we take their objective.

EDIT: i don't get a free weapon on 9 GH

To kill those extra points, look into a budget lone wolf. You could always throw a naked predator on the field, but then you would probably want to get bolters for a dakka pred.

I don't think you need 5 meltaguns in an 800 point game. You should take plasmaguns with one of those squads. Then use your extra points on power fists.

The rest of the army is solid. I would go with the combi/fist. Plasma or flamer, as you have melta covered.

Why do you *have* to go anti vehicle? How many AV13+ vehicles can he bring to an 800 point battle? Can't you just find the one (or two) high AV vehicles and kill them when you drop in? After you've done that, your meltaguns are pretty much worthless.

with the points you can give one or two pods missile at those points can make a lot of damage with the large blast

"Listen closely Brothers, for my life's breath is all but spent. There shall come a time far from now when our Chapter itself is dying, even as I am now dying, and our foes shall gather to destroy us. Then my children, I shall listen for your call in whatever realm of death holds me, and come I shall, no matter what the laws of life and death forbid. At the end I will be there. For the final battle. For the Wolftime."Leman Russ

that's also a thing indeed i did not even think of that, the only potential prob is that i don't have WYSIWYG drop pod with cyclone missle launcher
