So Vengeful Strike say that when models with this rule Deep Strike onto the board their ranged weapons(not including Psychic Powers) are twin-linked and Gate of Infinity says that this power uses the Deep Strike Rules.

My question is does that Gate of Infinity count towards activating the Vengeful Strike rule?

With the amount of rules that now use the DS rules I think they need to write out everything not just assume that they are the same. The just stated in the necron FAQ that the hunter's SR on Deathmarks does not activate despite the wording of DS saying you are deploying. I never played it that way though you could. I think a simple change to abilities to say, "When the unit/model DS's onto the board from reserves...." it would solve many of these issues. As jd said RAW yes RAI prolly not. Enough complications without adding more to DS.

ADD causes my posts to ramble from time to time. Please bear with me.

LOL would be kind of funny to have a unit just porting around the table shooting the crap out of of stuff. To add to this maybe you could use Belials rule and have the unit gate and then not scatter at all. It may be worded to negate this but i don't have the book in front of me. gotta go open a window to let out the stink of this cheese though. good job

I would say no, IAW the precedent set by the FAQ for the Necron Deathmarks.

If the thought of something makes me giggle for longer than 15 seconds, I am to assume that I am not allowed to do it.
