What is the best way to load out the Contemptor Dreadnought?

I am thinking either 2 Twin-linked Autocannons and a Typhoon Launcher or 2 Keros Assault Cannons and a Typhoon Launcher?

Does anyone have any experience with either of these configurations?

I have experience with both those configurations. The 2 Autocannons with the Typhoon is the cheaper option, and all the shooting has the same range. It doesn't have the same punch as the 2 Keros and Typhoon. If your target is within 24" it is pretty much going to die against the Keros option.

In my opinion, the Autocannons have better flexibility but if you want a big punch then go for the Keros.

Canifex Quote: I love Rhinos. They are crunchy on the outside, and soft and chewy on the inside.

I second the Kheres option

It is a cyclone. My bad...

But do you guys think it is worth the points? Is it a really good unit for competitive play, or should it be more for fun games?

I'm not a fan of the Kheres with its limited range..

I much prefer the Lascannons and the Cyconle. He packs a wallop and will put flyers down rather quickly.
