Librarian with Storm Bolter, Gate and Null Zone, 10 Tactical Marines with Teleport homer, Flamer, Power Weapon and Lascannon - 313 points
The Librarian is the 'transport' for these guys, either in their entirety or one combat squad thereof.

Land Raider with Storm bolter (until I can change it out for a multi-melta), selected from HS; and 10 tactical marines with Teleport homer, Lascannon, Plasma Gun, and Combi-flamer - 475
This squad will combat squad and ride in the LR.

6 terminators, one with CML - 230
This squad will deep strike.

6 terminators, one with Assault Cannon - 230
This squad will deep strike.

1248 total.

My objective is for one Gate and two Teleports to give me sufficient flexibility to strike where I want and apply overwhelming force at a single point. I can then switch the Librarian over to a Termie squad if it is more important to get them somewhere than the tacticals. Three or four scoring units at 1250 will, hopefully, be sufficient.

Thoughts? The land raider is expensive, but I want the mobility and have no other tanks available - yet! Obviously, I could drop down to a 1k list and give up some mobility and firepower.

Other models available include a Termie with lightning claws, 3 missile launcher marines, one with a heavy bolter, two with power fists, one with a storm bolter, two with bolter and bolt pistol, and one with bolt pistol and storm shield.

Well, your math is off, 6 Termies with cyclone or assault cannon are more that 230 pts.
Its a doable list. At small pts, a LR could be very resilient. However, I'd stick the Librarian to the Termies, with terminator armor, storm shield.

Yes, you are correct, I failed to add the points for the sixth Termie in each squad!
