Hi guys !

Greetings from Switzerland here and just a few words to introduce myself in the DakkaDakka Community.

I'm an used-to-be Warhammer Battle & Warhammer 40k player. I quit the hobby around 12 years ago, and in November 2012, after that quite long break, I started to be more and more attracted again by the hobby.

I've started with some Grey Knights, just because I really like the look they have. But at the local store, the first reactions were like "Yet another supa-cheesy player that will end up playing alone..." because the main opinion there is that Grey Knights are way above everything else. Nevertheless, I loved them and got some.

I tried (and mostly succeeded) in attracting some of my friends and even my wife into the hobby as well, and quickly, my living room morphed into a vast battlefield and a "mini's building zone". First battle again the freshly made Necrons from a friend against the mighty GK... and the reaction was similar to the ones at the shop "Thoses dudes are way too overpowered"... Same result against my wife's Orks... So I went for the exact opposite, getting a small Tau force, willing to get some more challenge, and stop the whining.

I got some Eldars as well, because I pretty much love their fluff and all things around them...

I got some Nids... well all in all, I might say that I'm really really addicted ^^

Btw, please excuse my many english mistakes, english is not really my mother language.

Thanks for reading

Hello and welcome! Nice to have another swiss around! Where are you from??

The first friend of mine I introducted to the hobby started playing Necron (and I started Tau). But after the 'crons update he also thought it would be nice to add some GK.

So everybody is finding and using any dirt-barely-legal trick to survive that combo.
