Hi, I was an Indiegogo backer and i am a supporter of the game, and i thoroughly enjoy its lore. My friend and i placed an order for the Starter Sets when they first went on sale and we recently received them. I've been painting my Reclaimers Starter Set to the best of my (woeful) ability and i hope to play the game soon.
My friend also writes a blog where he'll soon be posting up battle reports for Dark Potential. Currently it is mostly about Warhammer
40k with some Warhammer Fantasy and painting projects. You can check it out
here. Check out the current Dark Potential posts
here. precinctomega wrote:... it's probably worth not being an early adopter unless you've got money to burn.
I can't agree with you here. The game cannot grow if it is not shown support and with the game type intended to have a very low model count it is quite inexpensive to play. Although international postage is a real pain, Mini War Gaming are always making good offers (when we made our purchase it was free shipping for orders over $50) and currently they are offering free international shipping for orders over $100. You can go halves on two starter sets with a friend, download the rule book and templates for free and play the game for (currently) less than £40 each. That seems like a very good deal to me but the only other game i play is Warhammer
40k so anything less than £400 is a good price to me
I hope to see interest in this game grow quickly as it appears to be a great alternative to the current popular games. The creator has all but said he's essentially taken the best elements of the most played games and mashed them together so with that in mind along with Dark Potential being a table top game designed by and refined by table top players i can see it doing very well if/when it catches on
Peace Out!
Jonny!
