Quickly and cheaply deck out your next terrain project with Flat Pack terrain accessories. These thin (0.020") windows, vents, and doors can take an every day object and convert it into an awesome terrain piece.
The sets come attached to a simple sprue for easy storage till they are needed. The material is flexible enough to bend around slightly curved objects and allows you to conform them to more unique shapes. They are thin enough to blend into a building. This allows you to hide them better and get away from the glued on door look that is common with cast doors.
Unlike MDF, the lasercut styrene takes paint very well. The etched lines are raised slightly to provide a good surface for dry brushing and a deep groove that will look great with a simple wash.
Sets are available in both 28mm and 15mm.
More Info here.
Here are a few samples of the kits available.

.02" isn't very thick, especially for doors.... Do you have any pictures of them being used on a building preferably painted?

Here is some 15mm stuff. These are electrical boxes. I don't have anything done yet for 28mm. These where done by the Dropship Horizon guys. Here is the original post. http://theminiaturespage.com/boards/msg.mv?id=288226
here are some other pics of an WIP building. I local gamer was putting it together out of the prototypes. We went through a lot of them to get the laser settings correct. These are 15mm as well.

Are these for sale already, or just prototypes? You might have a big market for Dropzone Commander players (including my gaming group) if you put out some 10mm buildings. I've heard 15mm can sometimes work for both scales, but you might need smaller doors/windows at least...

They are already in our store and ready to go. 15mm has been up for a while. We held off the announcements till we got more material in and the 28mm scale ones done.

Brilliant idea. Seriously, just what I was hoping someone would produce.
Not ready to pick any up quite yet, but bookmarked.

We are going to be doing a lot of stuff with this method. I'm already (tonight in fact) experimenting with combining mdf and styrene to make buildings with rounded corners and other tricks to get rid of the bulky feel that most mdf stuff has.
We are also working on more advanced kits. Multi Part assemblies like cargo containers, staircases, and junk for the tops of buildings (HVAC, Air vents, stuff like that)

I'll be looking forward to seeing what you can do with the upcoming items.
These are a great, low cost addition for gamers to customize and spruce up drab foamcore and similar terrain.

If you get me a styrene cargo container... I will be a happy camper. You should start a thread on the Infinity section of the forum too.
The 28mm market for architectural components is somewhat sparse, at least in my area. Automatically Appended Next Post: Vent Set #2 has no image at the moment on your site, are those the round ones?

Yes they are round. I fixed it. Sorry about that.
Cargo containers are hard to scifi up. I could just do the hex ones but thats not really imaginative. Truth be told future cargo containers will be just as boring as the ones we have now. Probably the same size.
I'm gonna add smaller boxes to my list as well.
Shout out if your looking for something and I can add it to our future releases lists.

Today-looking ones would make my heart swell with joy, make no mistake. I have made a few papercraft ones, but I've been looking for styrene ones for a while. Model train ones are uber-pricy. All I want are some damn stacks of intermodal containers!!!! :-)
As soon as that hits the shelf, I am making an order, for real. Have you also thought of modifying the vent layout to make a bunch of manhole covers?
Hmmm.... man holes....

They look kinda promising. Each item in the store say that each set includes windows (including the window sets). Is that a copy/paste error?
If not, which window set is included, or do we get to choose during checkout?

Any chance you could scale these slightly for 10mm? Since it is the doors and windows that tend to be too large on 15mm buildings, and that is specifically what you have on offer here...
It is a GENIUS idea. If you offer them in 10mm, I can guarantee you at least my own sales and I'll be pimping them to other Dropzone Commander players.
Something to consider

Definatly agree with this..
Any easy, cost effective way to make DZC terrain would definatly get an order from me.

Then I suggest checking out Impudent Mortal's offerings. Apparently it is a good size match for DZC.

I beg to differ, these are to pretty much just glue overtop of flat areas on everyday stuff to turn it into cool terrain, not to leave (a door) hanging open for example, if I were to do that i'd double them up or put plasticard inbetween.
I like the idea, looks pretty good too.

I fixed the website. It was a copy and paste error. Each set comes with what is pictured.
As for 10mm, I can't go much smaller then they are right now. I could make the doors a bit smaller but they would take some serious modification and testing.
That said, most of them will work for 10mm. The windows and vents scale without much trouble. They would just look like larger windows. The big one in each pack might be a bit much for 10mm but still not bad. Doors could work. It really depends on the size of base and the actual scale of the fig. They are on the small side for 15/18mm. I think they are 32mm or so. They might be too wide for 10mm. I just don't have any experience in that scale.
We are also working on adapting the technique to buildings as well. Doesn't make them much cheaper but it overcomes the major issues with design. MDF doesn't curve so everything looks bulky, square, and bland. We can add lots of details and create almost any shape.
