I would like to build a Baneblade using the plans from WD132 and want to know how it's dimensions compare with the GW Baneblade. I'd like to build a ruined one as a piece of scenary but I'm not about to buy a $100+ model just to hack it up. Can anyone that owns a GW Baneblade and a set of calipers with good math skillz compare the dimensions of each part/piece and give me a size/ratio comparison against the plans in WD132? I'd like the scratchbuilt one to be closer to the size of the new one. I don't have a Baneblade and don't know anyone that does. Any help would be appreciated....

It's smaller all over.
Smaller than the old Armorcast one, smaller than the original FW one, smaller than the plastic kit, in that order (Plastic kit is larger than older FW resin one.)
Shorter, and narrower, but only by a few centimetres and your printer should be able to scale up slightly to fix that.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

Can you break that down Barney style for me? I'm not the coldest beer in the fridge sometimes.

The one in the WD looks taller than the GW version and chunkier too. As if it's possible for an Imperial super-heavy to have a svelte profile...
