Tribalwars is a browser game that requires strategy and the like and I really enjoy it and have played it for ages.
They recently installed a new feature that allows members to join and start up close to each other in the same tribe.
So I thought I'd ask dakka if anyone wanted to join in or if anyone plays it currently.

Tried it years ago. Got stomped every time by the huge clans that dominate the servers. Got bored.

I've made it to 5.2 million points before, I know what I'm doing 
I know what you mean though, it's all about the farming and if your not good at that you fall far behind.
I think the best start would be a no hauls world.

I also knew what I was doing. It just so happened that the clans there knew what they were doing better than I did, and they had the structure and player base to roflstomp whatever they felt got in their path*.
*See: Everyone who isn't part of their clan.
I dunno if it's changed recently or not but if you aren't part of the big 2 or 3 clans, you might as well not play.

It's much changed from that, I'm playing world 66 and I'm dominating my K with just 14 members.
Can you backtime send 100ms trains snipe do a snipe split and the like?
The early world were easier, another option would be for us to join the UK servers instead of the .net ones.
.net is fierce I can just about get inside the top 20 in my K (except when I start on the edge and then it's always top 5)
No hauls is easier for begginers though but not popular because you can't grow faster than the begginers.
