I am planning on going to champ, wait list god's willing. My list has Azriel, instead of purchasing the model I had planned on using the company master from dark vengeance. It meets all the WYSIWYG requirements but is not the actual model. Would this be a problem?

Shouldn't be a problem. Just tell everyone he's decided to put his helmet on for once

So long as it is WYSIWYG, and you let your opponent know before hand, no one should have a problem with it. If someone does reject it, they are just being a donkey cave.

Maybe worth having a helmet bearer proxy if needed, cant imagine why anyone would care but you never can tell.

Adepticon does have an email you can contact with model substitution questions. That said, IME as long as the weapons match and the size matches up, a character/special character model substitution is absolutely fine.

Some people like to get a free win out of throwing a fit that the model is wrong. I have heard of people complaining because models were on scenic bases of appropriate size that did not add to the height of the model because it is not the base it was supplied with.

I think a safe bet would be to try and get in touch with someone at Adepticon who will be in charge of the event and see if they would be willing to give you an answer.

Here's the link to the model policy:

If you have a question/want to make sure a model is okay, you can email info@adepticon.org, with photos. There are detailed guidelines at the link above.

That being said, from my experience of the last six years of Adepticon, as long as the weapons and size match up, this should be fine. Having a helmet bearer would also be a good way to make sure things are clear to opponents.
