Hello everyone!

I recently acquired a Malcador tank from a friend, and this friend has all sorts of fluff written up about it - including that it was one of the Heresy-era Malcadors that helped hold the Eternity Gate at the Siege of Terra. I want to continue this glorious fluff (as we take fluff quite seriously in my group) and am incorporating the recent acquisition of such a revered and beloved relic into the ranks of the 1st Concordian Armored.

In the past, it has been allowed as the Heresy-era Malcador during apocalypse games here, with all of the high-tech upgrades that that entails including Flare Shields, it becoming a fast vehicle, etc. I plan on using it the same in the future, but I wanted to post here to see if people around the world (well, Dakka community) would be alright with it as a general rule.

So, in Apocalypse, would the constituency here on Dakka be alright in allowing the Malcador Heavy Tank's Heresy rules from Horus Heresy I - Betrayal, provided the rules and fluff support is provided?

Yes in Apocalypse, since Apocalypse is "bring everything you own" and a Malcador of any kind, Heresy or modern, is so far down the list of nasty Apocalypse units that the only reason to deny one would be out of pure spite.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.
