Hey guys,

Quick question about movement. Let's say I wanted to park my vehicle, walker, or unit in Ruins roughly behind the front door here for example:

Can I choose to move my tank, or walker, or squad of guys through the solid wall area, provided I pass the prerequisite dangerous/difficult terrain check(s), or is my model required to go around the wall either to the left or the right?

In casual play I see it being no problem, but for tournament play I want to be sure I am allow to start a Vindicator or Maulerfiend out of line-of-sight and move regularly in my turn, or if I'd just be making a hassle for myself tactically.

By the BRB, you can move through the walls.. However, this is something that you should discuss with your opponent prior to playing.

It's area terrain, so moving through the walls is allowed.

The more open question is whether the model is allowed to END its movement partically through the wall; in a position where it physically can't come to rest. I've seen people play that you can or can't. If you can, then you want to make sure you mark the position where the tank "actually" is with dice or something.

Which is a houserule, as nothing in the 40K rules tells you to do this.
