Subject: D20 Modern (style) Miniature suggestions?

Hey everyone! I apologize ahead of time if this is in the wrong forum, but as it's " misc" it seemed like the best spot!
So as the title suggests, there's a group of us planning a d20 Modern campaign set in the modern world (14 years from now). Slight cybernetics will be incorporated as the game progresses... but the problem is finding miniatures that will suit the setting! Everyone carries fantasy but not much for plain non-fantasy in a modern/real-world setting. I'm aware of "RPGSHOP.com" and their selection of modern/sci-fi which definitely helps, but the group and I will need a much larger selection!
Any ideas folks?

Look at the militia minis from Urban War by Urban Mammoth. Also, Copplestone Castings and Foundry Miniatures and, for more modern, less cyber, Hasslefree's zombie Hunters.

My vote is always and absolutely with Chronoscope from Reaper Miniatures.

They not only have good generic sci-fi guys, but they have tons of pop culture figures. And they do fairly fast releases so the line gets plenty of updates.

A few that might help, though some of these may lean a bit toward sci-fi.
4A miniatures
East Riding Miniatures
Armorcast (specifically the tactical minis section)
Mega Miniatures (check the Salvage crew section)
Ramshackle games: most is a bit more post-apoc, but there are some newer trooper models that might be of use
Defiance games: UAMC marines
Infinity
West Wind games: Road kill section
The Assault Group: Lots of real world modern figs.
Mongoose publishing: Judge Dredd minis
Lead Adventure (a bit more post apoc, but some possibilities in ther)
Heresy Miniatures. Lots of good stuff.
Antenociti's Workshop. A very crisp vision of near future.

I have been also using Heros-Clix, Star Wars and even Necromund Minis. Those and the new DV Cultest work well to.

Iron Wind Metals still makes old Shadowrun minis IIRC. But they are actually 25mm scale, not the current 28 Heroic of 30mm you see from most minis.

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money. |
