Evergreen plastics makes several - not sure if they are available in Oz or not - but there are several websites that sell their products.

What you need is Plastikard Embossed Sheeting which is easily available in the UK here, for example...

Hopefully you can find someone in Australia who carries it.

@Steelcult: Evergreen can be quite easily found in Australia. You didn't specify what size "tiling" you wanted, though. Evergreen, being an American company, uses Inches as their main sizing (and a decimal of an inch for thickness). Are you after 1.5mm squares, 3mm, 4mm, 6.5mm, 12mm ? (1/16, 1/8, 1/6, 1/4, etc). Aussie hobbie store that does carry Evergreen (also my local store). May not suit you, but the Evergreen codes will help you find someone else who might be. https://www.frontlinehobbies.com.au/categories/E/E28/E28D?product_page=10

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

@ chromedog - never quite sure what's available where - I know through the internets you can get most anything anywhere, but never quite sure when specific brands are concerned.

Ive figured out the mesaurements im wanting. I'm thinking of having the tiles squares a simple 1cm by 1cm design, the thickness of the plasticard doesn't matter preferably as thin as possible, even down to 1mm.
Im unsure how to convert these measurements into the unit system of inches and things.

Buy a guillotine (paper / card cutter with a drop blade, not a circular trimmer) and make your own. It's a lot quicker than you might think.

Yeah though you are talking a bit of money for a decent unit. Probably you can buy all the embossed card you would need for less, and have a variety of designs.
I'm all for DIY -- it sounds more practical if you can borrow guillotine from work to do it.

Depends on the sizes you want. £15 got me a decent guillotine. More efficient than spending time hunting for the size I wanted and or waiting for them to come in. Also very handy for chopping brass sheet to make banners, streamers etc. Basically if you need to make a straight or square cut in pretty much anything. Couple with set squares and a protractor, and you get more options still.
Useful tools are useful.
