Subject: Need help with my White Scars tactics

Hey all,
I recently started playing with my White Scars army again and since then I have lost horrendously in every game. In my game last night I was tabled on turn 4 and hardly damaged his army (I killed 3 wraiths, 1 annihilation barge, about 10-15 warriors and some scarabs in a 1,750 point game).
In my army I have;
A captain on a bike (can use as Khan)
A commad squad on bikes (3 power swords and 1 plasma gun)
A chaplain with jump pack
2 squads of 5 bikes + 1 MM attack bike each (2 bikes in each squad have plasma guns)
10 man tactical squad with melta, missile launcher, sergeant with plasma pistol and power sword in a rhino
5 scouts with snipers and a missile launcher
5 assault marines with a plasma pistol and champ with storm shield and power axe
Land speeder with heavy bolter and assault cannon
Predator with both turret weapons available
Is it worth using the captain as Khan?
Is it worth outflanking?
Do you have any tactical advice that I may find helpful?
I really need help with this, I love the White Scars but if I keep losing like this I'll get fed up of playing with them.
Thanks in advance.

“Because we couldn’t be trusted. The Emperor needed a weapon that would never obey its own desires before those of the Imperium. He needed a weapon that would never bite the hand that feeds. The World Eaters were not that weapon. We’ve all drawn blades purely for the sake of shedding blood, and we’ve all felt the exultation of winning a war that never even needed to happen. We are not the tame, reliable pets that the Emperor wanted. The Wolves obey, when we would not. The Wolves can be trusted, when we never could. They have a discipline we lack, because their passions are not aflame with the Butcher’s Nails buzzing in the back of their skulls.
The Wolves will always come to heel when called. In that regard, it is a mystery why they name themselves wolves. They are tame, collared by the Emperor, obeying his every whim. But a wolf doesn’t behave that way. Only a dog does.
That is why we are the Eaters of Worlds, and the War Hounds no longer."

im not a bike guy, so my advice might not be much help but, the strength of the C:SM in 6th is the elite slots. whether that be Sternguard, Termies or Dreds.while those units arent super quick and dont really mesh with White Scars on the surface, drop pods and deep striking can get them where they need to be.
With what ud hav, id advise making the captain Khan, if for no other then than him granting hit and run, which in 6th with Hammer of Wrath can be very useful.
Also, i always found that the best tactic against Wraiths is a Libby with null zone, then just hit them with things thatll make them hav to take their invul save, preferably ones that would ID them.

I've been planning on getting some sternguard in a drop pod to replace the assault marines but I don't have the money right now.

I used to play white scars, very fun army.
I'm not sure what I'd recommend based on the models you have, but I will give some pointers. I ran all bikes with fast slots of landspeeder typhoons.
I would stick with the captain, not khan. Combat tactics is much more useful to scars than outflank is, and khan is overpriced. Captain with relic blade, artificer armor, and a bike. He's a good hunter, keeps his good initiative, good strength, 2+/4+ saves.
Other than that, it would be great if you could get some storm shields and thunder hammers on the command squad.
You really need more models, everything is just too spread out. Preds are good, but you'd need at least 2. Typhoons are golden paired with bikes. More bikes are recommended. Right now your models are a hybrid between fast Scars and vanilla marines, gotta pick one direction.
Hope it helps

Sometimes, you just gotta take something cause the model is freakin cool... |
