According to the codex, you can't have a mega nob without the mega armor. Mega armor comes with a Power Klaw that you cannot opt out of. Since PKs are unwieldy, they render the user at initiative step 1. Why, then, do mega nobs have an I 3 on their profile?
Does the statement "The piston-enhanced metal limbs of mega armor give the wearer phenomenal strength and resilience" mean that the unwieldy is negated, or are mega nobs forever doomed to I 1?

Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

The initiative is also used for some tests, so even thou they attack at I1, there are things like Blind that require an I test where the 3 would be a lot better than 1.

Also, bear in mind that Unwieldy doesn't actually change the model's Initiative value at all - it just makes him pile in and strike at that Initiative step. It's an important distinction for things like Initiative tests (as already mentioned), Sweeping Advance, and so on.
