I have been working on some 40k stuff (which is a change for me), and thought I'd share what I have done with a Dark Angels Predator and Blood Angels Land Raider. Both are refurb commissions. Let me know what you think. Thanks!

Very cool stuff. Its hard to pull off single color models but your weathering does it justice.

Big tip, lots of folks won't click links, if you can post your stuff in your comment if you can.

Now with 100% more blog....

Great work. Love the OSL, love the weathering.
One thing that really sticks out to me is the decals. I suggest you go over them with some paint or a decal medium.

That's definitely what I had problems with. It's already sealed/varnished; is there any way to make them less visible at this point?

I am new to the decals thing (always been a hand painter), but if you have any links to good tutorials, etc., I'd love to see them.

Thanks!

I've got a tutorial up on my blog but I only show the decal medium method: http://www.greenfarseer.blogspot.com.au/2012/10/review-vallejo-decal-fix-medium-tutorial.html
I don't know if the medium can be applied to decals that have already been sealed though, never tried that before.

But I don't think you'll be bad off using the paint on method either. Just go over the decal with a thin layer of paint and reseal.

Shred City.

Your airbrushing is really nice, I particularly like that dreadnought. Your weathering is also exceptional.
