The plan would be to keep the infantry and veterans up front behind the aegis, manticores out of LOS, and the Lemans at the back. Infiltrate the Storm Troopers at mid-field to slow down the advancing BA (hopefully get an extra round of shooting at them). Alpha strike attempts will probably kill a leman or manticore, but the vets should be able to take out the alpha strike after that.

I thought a lot about bringing 2 Vendettas, because my opponent owns 2 Storm Ravens. If he brings them, I think I'm done for. Would it be worth dropping the manticores for a pair of vendettas and outflank him with plasma?

Not sure about this list.

If he brings two stormravens at 1.5K, you might be able to shoot him off the table before they can be a huge factor.

Change the Command Squad to have a Master of Ordnance and a regimental standard. Fun and effective.

Drop the heavy flamer on the platoon command, just keep them naked to man the quad gun.

The vets need to be in chimeras. Maybe drop demolitions and the plasma to melta to get the points along with dropping the heavy flamer above.

Deep striking the stormtroopers is the only way to go really.
