So with DW terms having split fire I had the ocassion to do a crazy charge. I had a 10 man term squad with Belial leading it up. I moved up to within about an 1.5 infront of two tactical squads. I did a split fire and fired all but one of my storm bolters at a squad that was about 14 inches away behind the two squads in front of me. I then shot the one storm bolter at one of the tactical squads 1.5 inches infront of me. I then declared a disordered charge into the two closest tactical squads. The 10 terminators killed 23 marines that turn. I am pretty sure this was all legal. In the disordered charge my primary target was the single storm bolter target. Secondary was the tactical squad I did not shoot at. I made B2B with as many as I could in the primary squad before I charged into the secondary squad.

That is correct and legal.

Yup, lethal too. So long as you shot 'something' at the primary unit you were going to charge, you've fulfilled all the necessary hoops to charge it.

in this case yes though in some cases (we are legion CoC) it states it does not affect the charge options.

It is fun, not sure I would consider it cheese as it was about 680 points in models and they killed about 400 points worth, then again they came out with barely a scratch on them.

teach them how to overwatch better, and have better CC weapons... I don't see an issue with this. In fact i think it would be more fun if you could shoot 1 unit and charge another.

Anything with divination/guide.
You should even kill 1 with a squad of 10 marines.
20*(2/3)
13.5*(1/2)
6.75*(1/6)
1 dead on the way in.
If they have T5... well ok then but they aren't shooting if they have T5.
