So I was using quickshade yesterday, and as it always does, that means I cover my fingers as much as I cover the figures.

I do some of my hobby-stuff at my grandads while we talk about the importance of a navy to the Swiss defence.

So I belatedly remember that I'll need to clean my fingers and brush after I'm done, so I ask him if he has any denatured alcohol. He looks at the paint and goes

"No, but you can get rid of that with real butter."

Well, left with no choice I sort of had to try it
It was extremely effective.

So I figured I'd share this with you guys. I doubt it works with acrylics, although I didn't try... but for fingers completely covered in quickshade, using butter as if it were soap, and then washing it off with dishwashing liquid seems a healthier alternative to strong alcohol, and works as well if not better.

Filed for future use. Thanks for that

Why is it that only those who have never fought in a battle are so eager to be in one?

Very cool. I will be trying this out. Also very cool that your grandpa and you hang out while you model!

I'll keep it in mind if ever a wild quickshade appears.
