I'm new to fantasy, but have played 40k for a while. I want to start a fantasy army but I want to make it all female. Which armies would work best for that.

Daemonnettes of Slaanesh are girls.
Sort of.
Elves could work too. Both HE, DE and WE.

This and I may also add the Amazones from Mordheim, they could be used as Generals and Heroes in your army . And they look nice too, and the sisters of Sigmar from the same game too.

But the Elfes would be the ones to use me thinks, you would be spared searching around for 3th part bitzs and what not

Yeah, I'd say Elves indeed. Those are already half or even more girls.

Wood Elves would be a decent Counts As amazons.

What all they said. If you want to get real adventureous, Beastmen and Chaos have to have women. I mean they breed somehow. Under all that armor and/or fur, who can tell?

I have it on good authority that all trolls are female. They are what happens when their boyfriend leaves them under a bridge on a date. Be right back!

Lizardmen, despite the name, are sexless. They spawn from pools. Paint 'em pink and have them put flowers in the Slann's...well, not hair, but his toad head.

OH, and undead are whatever. A skeleton could just as easily be a man as a woman.

Dark Elves probably have the most female figures in the normal army range:

Some of the basic warriors have female bodies, soreceress, Hag Queen, Morathi, Harpies and Witch Elves meen it should be pretty easy to construct?

and is fluffy

Clearly, skeletons are male. I mean, they got boners all over the place.

Haha.

I would say like others have pointed out that the elf armies would be the easiest to field as entirely female with a bit of conversion work.

Them or slaaneshi daemons, but with some of those guys they could be male, female or anywhere in between.....

It's hard to say with undead. I figure they don't really have a defined sex or at least GW wouldn't note any skeletal differences if they do. You can have plenty of female vampires though and that would be a few female leaders for an army that is undefined.

There are a lot that are more just uni-sex like orcs & goblins and the 2 undead armies. Sadly i don't think there's much in the way of an all female army unless you did wood elves but i think it's agreed they currently suck. There are old amazons (that aren't a faction) but you may have to use them as 'counts as' type models for another faction. Meh you may have to convert or take models from a non-GW source. Sadly this is a lot harder in fantasy and like 'sisters of battle' might be an army not terribly easy to play in gameplay terms if you do go wood elves.

This may not be as easy to do as dark eldar for converting everybody to female or having lots of female bodies. I suppose there's always a wych list with dark elves though. Of course if you do the wych list with dark elves you'll earn a lot of hatred among the other players since it's considered stupidly OP.
