You can expand point 3 out slightly. Nids do very well against fliers because they can flood the board with models usually with Tervigons. This limits the options for fliers because they always have to move at least 18" and can't turn very well. With proper placement they should be able to get shots off the turn they arrive, but after that they should be overshooting your entire army because you have covered all their landing positions with Gaunts. Anything that hovers you should be able to kill with Hive Guard or MCs.
