750 point Dark Angels versus Tau Empire

(Note: I do not have the new Dark Angels Codex, so I'm still using the "old" codex.)

Preface
My friend and I started playing 40k about 3 months ago. We both got the big rule book and some models to start with. He started with a Tau Battleforce Box and has added a Skyray kit and a Hammerhead kit. I've bounced around from Dark Eldar to Grey Knights to Necrons to Blood Angels. We've averaged about a game a month. And we're still in kind of a "skirmish" mode, not really fielding huge armies, and still getting used to the flow of the game. This match-up will be our third game.

I was going through some old boxes and found some 40k models that I bought on ebay quite a few years ago (when I had gotten excited about Warhammer, but didn't know anyone who played, and didn't know how to make sense of a codex). I had two boxes of Terminators, a Land Raider, a box of Tyranid Warriors, a Tyranid Hive Tyrant, and a box of guants. Tyranids aside, I wanted to try to use the Terminators for something, and since I've tried Necron blobs, and various Space Marine "a little of everything" approaches, I thought I'd try a small, tough Terminator army. So here comes the Deathwing.

Deathwing Roster
Belial, 155 pts (Terminator Armor, Thunder Hammer, Storm Shield, Deathwing Company Standard)
(Castellian Crowe will be standing in proxy for Belial, with a cardboard cut out for a Terminator base, and paper TH and SS)

Deathwing Terminator Squad, 250 pts
_ 3 Terminator (Power Fist, Storm Bolter)
_ 1 Terminator (Chainfist, Storm Bolter)
_ 1 Terminator Sergeant (Power Sword, Assault Cannon)

Deathwing Terminator Squad, 235 pts
_ 2 Terminator (Lightning Claws)
_ 1 Terminator (Thunder Hammer, Storm Shield)
_ 1 Terminator (Thunder Hammer, Storm Shield, carrying the Deathwing Company Standard)
_ 1 Terminator Sergeant (Thunder Hammer, Storm Shield, Cyclone Missile Launcher)

Dreadnought, 130 pts (Assault Cannon, Dreadnought CCW with built-in Heavy Flamer)

770 Total Points
Spoiler:

Sorry, the images are a little blurry. They were taken on my low quality camera phone.

I plan on sticking Belial with the THSS and Lightning Claw Terminators, and marching them up the field behind Storm Shields. Everyone else will follow behind and shoot as much as possible as we try to engage in Assault range.

The Enemy:

Tau Empire Roster
Commander Shas'el, 119 pts (Missile Pod, Plasma Rifle, Fusion Blaster, Hard-Wired Multi-Tracker, Hard-Wired Drone Controller, 2x Gun Drones)

Stealth Team, 127 pts
_ 2 Stealth Shas'ui (Burst Cannon)
_ 1 Stealth Shas'ui (Fusion Blaster, Team Leader, Markerlight, Hard-Wired Drone Controller, 2x Gun Drones)

Fire Warriors Team, 140 pts
_ 11 Shas'la (Pulse Rifle)
_ 1 Shas'ui (Pulse Rifle, Markerlight)

Kroot Carnivore Squad, 84 pts
_ 12 Kroot (Kroot Rifle)

Hammerhead Gunship, 135 pts (Ion Cannon, 2x Burst Cannons, Multi-Tracker, Disruption Pod, Blacksun Filter)

Sky Ray Missile Defense Gunship, 160 pts (6x Seeker Missiles, 2x Networked Markerlights, 2x Burst Cannons, Targeting Array, Multi-Tracker, Disruption Pod, Blacksun Filter)

765 Total Points

The battle will commence on this next Tuesday. I will be putting the battle report up, shortly after.

The fluff is like ketchup and mustard on a burger. Yes it's desirable, yes it makes things better, but no it doesn't fundamentally change what you're eating and no you shouldn't just drown the whole meal in it.
