Quick question for my fellow dakkanauts, I have three rough groups of models in my IG army, red vostroyans, ice world cadians and converted DV cultists that I use as conscripts. Is there any way I can tie them together as an army short of an entire repaint?

Well you can always base them the same. That helps. With ig, mixed regiments always look good together anyways, regardless of color.

Pick a color that can go on every model in a small area. FOr my orks every squad is based in a different color, the armor plates and weapons mainly. BUT I paint a yellow and black striped pattern on the chainsaws and other big flat areas. So the bright yellow ties all the different units and the tanks together. Also every unit is based the same way, so they all look like they are standing on the same ground.

For IG I'd say maybe painting all the guns the same color, or giving one shoulder pad from every model the same color.
