Hey guys,
I had my first battle for about 6 months yesterday, and whilst I knew I was going to get my ass handed to me by my mates SW/IG list, I have a question which I wish to pose to you:

I just used the last list I wrote up which saw me running 2 30 boyz groups as foot sloggers, whilst I sent three trukks (1 Nobz, 2 Boyz) racing ahead to provide some distraction for the foot sloggers. My question is, would I be better off dropping one of the 30 large groups for something more speed based? Whether that is more trukks, bikes or deffcopters.

Orks generally work best with redundancy, especially with Trukks.

Perhaps a KFF? Warbikes and Deffkoptas, as well as Warbuggies make an excellent screening tool, as well as efficient anti-infantry/tank.

I also suggest a Dakkajet.

Yea you were working with two different tactics. Orks are lame with doing split-tactic armies.
I'd say drop the 30mans and try to squeeze in 2 BWs transporting 20 of them and surge them all up with a KFF + those trukks. If you can afford it, a dakkajet or two helps a ton as well.

An ork with an idea tends to end with a bang.

Yeah, will be tinkering with the list in the coming days before my next battle. Unfortunately, I am limited by the models I have and the really limitation for me is that I have two trukks and only a single battlewagon to use.

Yeah, his list is absolutely brutal. Won his first tournament he played in with it. His griffons bring the pain for my horde

Definitely have to vehicle up to the max against pie plates.

If you can swing a dakkajet or two, he'll hate you for that, especially is he's taking flyers too.

Yea a single battlewagon wont do much. Even if you cover it with 5 other trukks its still not that much of a threat.

Orks = Iz it gud enuf to take? DEN TAKE 2!
