It's been quite a while since I posted a blog of an army. Mainly because I've been studying, changing work situations, commissions, and other assorted activities.

However, during a recent Necron commission and inspired by the recent re-release of the Dark Angels, I've been spurred to think about my dark angels army sitting collecting dust, once more.

I am not satisfied with the straightforward Dark Angels colour pattern, so I've been ruminating on a suitable scheme for the past 2 years since I've finished assembling the majority of the army. Here are the fruits of my efforts. I have come up with the these schemes based on colours I have seen and liked, colours I can get in a spray undercoat, simplicity, effectiveness and eye catching. It isn't easy coming up with a scheme that encapsulates all of these elements. I have settled on these two, but can't decide which I like more.
