I started playing my BA army back in 2nd Edition at the ripe age of 11 or 12, definitely had way too much fun with them back then. I still remember painting up units during the week to get the parents to take me to the local GW in Waldorf and play on Friday nights. Took a back burner for a while as I got into fast cars, girls and bikes.

Currently 28 now, and back into it again. I don't play much during the summer months which can easily be changed. Definitely enjoy my Harley during the nicer months though.

2 years ago, I had the joy of playing at a 'Tanksgiving' tournament at my local GW in Annapolis. I'm definitely a tread head at heart and with cash to burn I accumulated almost 30 Leman Russes with a friend of mine and a staggering 8 Super Heavies. Definitely love tanks. Still have my BA army, but I refuse to add more too it until I get the remaining balance painted.

I'm an average painter, shooting more for a decent looking model on the table top, vs some of the gorgeous stuff posted on here. I've tried my hand at washes after reading alot on here and I think I have an alright grasp of it. Unfortunately no pics currently. Really hating my blackberry for pics and my Iphone was stolen about a month ago.

I tried doing that (resolving not to buy any more models until my current ones are painted). Unfortunately immediately after making that resolution I came home, piled up all of my unpainted models and was immediately demotivated by an enormous pile of Orks sat on my desk. Hopefully your willpower will be greater. Welcome!

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka

I LOVE building models.
I have in the last 3 months bought a Rhino, A Predator, A heldrake... All of which are unpainted.

I have bought a Tyrannofex/Tervigon kit, which is now a fully built and unpainted tervigon.. and a Trygon. Aswell as 30 of 40 termagants are unpainted, aswell as my Flying hive tyrant.

My entire chaos collection of over 2000pts has some pink painted on the shoulder pads, and some of the trims painted... But otherwise sprayed black and/or grey and completely untouched but built.

I have a million and one things to paint...
And I can't stop buying models.

I hope your willpower holds out.
