Issues?
Dealing with Spammed high AV or just high AV units will be a challenge but does it matter with this many bodies fielded?
Loosing the Storm Eagle to interceptor or something else the turn it comes on will be incredibly harsh.

For those not in the know, Storm Eagle is 12/12/12 flying fast attack slot which has the assault special rule.
Access points are front/back and both sides.
Hull mounted twinlinked heavy bolter (ill upgrade this to a Reaper Autocannon for free).
Hull mounted Vengeance Launcher.
Ceramite plating ( I think this means no extra d6 for melta/mounstrous but will have the check when i get home).

Any advice? Am I crazy putting so many points into a flyer?

It will suck losing that flyer to an interceptor shot, which at a FW tourney you will most likely encounter (I'm thinking dual TLLC + CML Mortis Contemptor or my favorite AA squad: tank hunting BT termies manning a quad-gun).

That said, if the Storm Eagle makes it, it's gonna hit like a ton of bricks...
