Basically what the subject says. Sleeping Dogs is currently at -75% at Steam and I was wondering if it's worth buying.

Anyone played it? Some good / bad opinions? Similarity to some other game?

Metacritic rating is pretty high, 80 metascore and 8.3 user score. From what I understand most people gripe about it not being anything particularly new. Just another open world sandbox where you play as a cop in hong kong. Some say the story is pretty nice though.

I've played the demo. It was pretty awesome actually.

I've played it through on the Xbox and its a great game. Not as long as I would like but there is still a fair amount to do.

The consoley control scheme on the PC is awful. That being said, I really liked the setting. The location of Hong Kong feels fresh and relatively unused, and I enjoyed the story. For 75% off, I'd say go for it.
