Simple question so I can plan my DW purchases: how many thunder hammers come in the deathwing terminator box set?

1 thunder hammer per box. It's a load of crap.

Yes it is, and they are next to impossible to get, I need 5 and have been searching for weeks, there are some up on ebay but they tend to get very spendy. All of the bits places seem to be sold out from what I can tell, I found 1 person who might have some but he wants $15 each for them.

Yeah, but most of the right handed ones are out of stock a lot of places and I don't want the left handed ones because then you can't use the really nice looking deathwing termie storm shields.

Keeping the box about 10 dollars cheaper by not including weapons options for every single choice when you can get them elsewhere already. I'm serious, if they included 5 Thunder Hammers and 5 sets of lightning claws, they would probably spread them out onto an extra sprue and charge about 10 bucks more. Honestly, just buy a box of Assault Terminators alongside the deathwing box. Yes its expensive, but it gets you 10 Terminators, 6 Hammers, and it also lets you build your choice of shooting Terminators or Deathwing Knights (which I both highly recommend).

I hear ya. I thought I had my budget army planned out to a T. 50 extra bucks is not the end of the world but its annoying since all i need is 4 more freakin thunder hammers hahaha Screw you GW, I'm going to cannibalize my SW hammernators instead.

just got ten from ebay for $50 including shipping. Expensive yes, but thats probably all I'm gonna need for a while (Can't think of ever putting more than 2 per squad, maybe three for a dedicated assault unit with a heavy flamer)

Are there any good small batch miniature companies that have TH equivalents? I checked scibor and hitech but neither had anything.

If you already have arms, you could try these hammers from Puppets War.



Chaperhouse Studios also has a hand full of Hammers.

The puppetswar ones are pretty decent. I think I might go with those. I'll have to do a little cutting and filing on the old AoBR terminators but i think they will do just fine.
