With frenzy it says that if you fail your restraining leadership check it says you must make a charge attempt if able. Lets say I had a frenzied unit of knights, and a unit of friendly infantry in front of the knights blocking any possible charge to enemy units and the knights fail their restrain roll. Are they then required to make a charge roll even if they cannot get through the friendly unit to actually engage the enemy? If not do they just move up as close as possible, despite the fact they cannot actually get to the enemy unit because of intervening friendly units? Sorry if this seems like a stupid question but I haven't managed to find answers on it. Cheers for any replies.

If you have no legal charges, you don't test for Frenzy.

Thanks to premeasuring, you can always check to see if you need to test.

Keep in mind you can make some pretty crazy charges. Like the one I made in the following diagrams.

Cheers for the reply mate, so as long as the charge is legal you have to make the roll for frenzy. So would a friendly unit blocking a charge route of a frenzied unit mean the frenzied unit is not obliged to take the restrain roll even if it is in charge range, but cannot get past the friendly unit to engage the enemy one? Sorry if this seems like a stupid question.

Correct, just make sure that you absolutly cannot make a charge. You could have some epic 90 degree charge, or if you are flying a friendly unit won't block you at all.

Also note that if you fail to restrain your charge, you must charge the *closest* valid target!

“It was in lands of the Chi-An where she finally ran him to ground. There she kissed him deeply as he lay dying, and so stole from him his last, agonized breath.

On a delicate chain at her throat, she keeps it with her to this day.”

It also doesnt stop you declaring a non-forced charge, as you can have the blocking unit declare a charge that would move them out the way.
