Here are a few questions from yesterdays practice game, just for clarification. These have been on my mind some time, but since i don't have a rulebook at work today, so here goes the questions:

1. Can flamers (i.e. heavy incinerator) flame units inside a bastion and/or on top of the bastion?
2. If there's a template put on top of the bastion targeting several units, does the bastion itself take the hit including units under the template (and a gun, i.e. icarus lascannon)?
3. If i declare that units inside use a different firepoint in the bastion or different gun emplacements, they don't count as moving?
4. Should jokaero be placed near the slits on top of the bastion or can they stick out their long fingers to fire over the battlements?
5. Do buildings get cover saves?
6. Do buildings get cover saves during night fight?
7. If dreadknight does Hammer of Wrath attack, he gets to re-roll charge distance and get 1 additional attack at normal WS, S6, I10 with re-rolls (if he's wielding nemesis greatsword)?
8. If jump infantry uses jump packs to move in to difficult terrain, f.e. forest, they don't need to roll for move through difficult terrain. They should take only dangerous terrain tests while landing and can move up to 12".
9. If jump infantry uses jump packs to charge (HoW) in to difficult terrain, f.e. forest, they roll 2d6 for charge distance, can re-roll it, but take dangerous terrain tests for landing ?
10. If jump infantry uses jump packs to move out of difficult terrain, they can move up to 12" no problem without rolling difficult terrain tests?

1. I guess if the top of the bastion counts as third floor, then it can't be done?
2. I think true
3. I think true
4. I hope its true, otherwise I can't utilize boltgun acolytes for wound soaking.
5. I somewhat think it's true, but really doubt it
6. I think true
7. I think true
8. I think true, wishful thinking
9. I think true, wishful thinking
10. I think true, somehow don't remember exactly...

1. Partial yes. Bastion is not ruins. Units inside take hits if the template is over firepoint.
2. Yes, though technically hitting the ceiling of the bastion does not cause hit on the bastion, as the ceiling is part of Battlements.
3. Yes, they count stationary
4. True LOS applies, so near slits.
5. Yes, but unlikely.
6. Yes.
7. Partially true. Hammer of Wrath special attack hits automatically, so WS doesn't matter.
8. True. They also take DT test for leaving though.
9. Yes. Also for leaving.
10. Yes, but they need to take DT test for leaving.

1. Can flamers (i.e. heavy incinerator) flame units inside a bastion and/or on top of the bastion?
A: On top, yes. Inside? there are special rules for doing so, so also yes. (but you have to follow those rules; it's not just a straight up 'what's under the template' and you cannot do both of these attacks at once, it's one or the other.)

2. If there's a template put on top of the bastion targeting several units, does the bastion itself take the hit including units under the template (and a gun, i.e. icarus lascannon)?
A: Yes, as it is under the template.

3. If i declare that units inside use a different firepoint in the bastion or different gun emplacements, they don't count as moving?
A: No they do not count as having moved, that is unless you have to move the model to be in B2B with another emplaced weapon.

4. Should jokaero be placed near the slits on top of the bastion or can they stick out their long fingers to fire over the battlements?
A: Probably, the closer they are to the battlements the better LOS they should have. Controversely, the easier it is to target 'them' so it's a tradeoff.

5. Do buildings get cover saves?
A: Yes, in the exact same fashion as vehicles. (25% of model obscured)

6. Do buildings get cover saves during night fight?
A: Yes.

7. If dreadknight does Hammer of Wrath attack, he gets to re-roll charge distance and get 1 additional attack at normal WS, S6, I10 with re-rolls (if he's wielding nemesis greatsword)?
A: Almost: If you moved him as infantry (6 inches) in the preceding movement phase (and he has a teleporter) he can re-roll charge distance, otherwise not. Yes to all of those other things you've mentioned in this question.

8. If jump infantry uses jump packs to move in to difficult terrain, f.e. forest, they don't need to roll for move through difficult terrain. They should take only dangerous terrain tests while landing and can move up to 12".
A: Yes

9. If jump infantry uses jump packs to charge (HoW) in to difficult terrain, f.e. forest, they roll 2d6 for charge distance, can re-roll it, but take dangerous terrain tests for landing ?
A: Yes

10. If jump infantry uses jump packs to move out of difficult terrain, they can move up to 12" no problem without rolling difficult terrain tests?
A: Yes, but they'd take dangerous terrain checks for that move too.
