I was wondering if anyone knew of any great fanfic revolving around Rogue Traders?

I just started !!!Shameless Plug Alert!!! my own rogue trader fanfic: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/8960621/1/Rogue-Trader-Darus-Omnibus-I !!!Shameless Plug Over!!!

But I don't really have a ton to go off of and am mostly basing it off inspirations from the Lexicanum which made them sound like total badasses everyone would want to write stories about. I was hoping to read some other works to try and get a better feel for them. Any suggestions?

Well you could try the rogue trader novels,

Also nemesis the HH book I think includes a Rogue Trader as a plot hook.

Could try them.

I was hoping to not spend money but I appreciate the link. Do you know if they are any good or not?

Afraid not. Can't say that Iv read them. Just aware of them.
Nemesis is readable, by no means the best in the series however.

One of the Enforcer books (the 2nd one, I think?) involves, as plot-important characters, a Rogue Trader dynasty, but they are not the main characters of the story, so time spent with them as POV characters is limited.

It is best to be a pessimist. You are usually right and, when you're wrong, you're pleasantly surprised.

Look up 'Into the Maw: Or how I became incredibly wealthy' for one of the more interesting bits of Rogue Trader fiction, even if its technically a series of Rogue Trader sessions stringed together to be amusing.
