Subject: Sevro Skulls (and Chooser of the Slain) and Scout Move

Over the weekend our group encountered an issue with Ravenwing Bikes scouting and servo skulls in the GK codex. The GK codex describes the sevro skull and preventing "pregame" move within 12" of the skull. The RW bikes with scout allow a "redeploy" within X dimension of their location.
A debate ensued about wheter or not the scout "redploy" was a " pregame move". The consensus was that servo skulls disallowed the reploy with the range of the servo skull. What does YMtC think? Did we get it right?
Additionally, the topic moved into Chooser of the Slain. CotS prevents Inflitration within 12" of the marker. Scout reploys are not inflitration from what we could determine. So the question was, doe CotS prevent scout reploys within 12" of the marker?

No, because as you say they are not Infiltrators. Infiltrate != Scout
Servo Skulls prevent scout moves from moving within X" of the skull

Scouting isn't a move anymore, it's a redeploy.

Meaning it does not prevent Scouts from de-deploying - which is the direction I was going in.

Scout redeployment isn't a move, so the Servo Skull has no effect on it, an unfortunate side effect of the change to 6th, at least until an errata addressing the issue is released.

Interceptor Drones can disembark at any point during the Sun Shark's move (even though models cannot normally disembark from Zooming Flyers).

Agreed scout is not a move, otherwise bikers will be claiming jinks even if they dont go first.

Thanks for the repllies guys and I see your points. So servo skulls currently have no use because there is no such thing as pregame movement.
However, Marky, there still would be no jink save even it was a move. The unit of bikes would need to have had moved in the previous Movement Phase. IF pre game moves existed, it wouldn't currently be in a Movement Phase.
Thanks everyone.
