Adding more vehicles(and Robots) into my line, I have been thinking about trying airbrushing. Anyone have any suggestions for a "starter kit" that is pretty good?
I have been watching videos here on Dakka but I would also like suggestions for the begining airbrush modeler

Thanks!

PDX

Iwata HP-CS, Medea Cleaner, and Liquitex Airbrush Medium (to mix with paints).

Or, Minitaire paints are supposed to be great - no additives needed.

I don't have any specific product recommendations, but you could follow my mini series over the next couple of weeks to get a great deal of knowledge that will help you make a good decision.

I am currently taking commissions.

Somewhere in south-central England.

You need a compressor and a double action brush.

There is a lot to be said for buying a super-cheap outfit to start with. In the UK you can get an off-brand compressor and brush off eBay for about £80.

If you get along with the whole concept and techniques, you can upgrade your equipment later.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...
