I wanted an army that had termies, speeders and some Air power.
I love the look of the Nephilim Jet fighter and love using speeders in battle due to their speed and firepower. I know speeders die easy but I love them and when used right excel.
I have been running marines for 5 years and have tried many different lists. I wanted to run a list that was fun to play and that I enjoy painting. What do you think?

190- HQ Beliel w/Hammer and SS
265- 5 Terminators with 4 SS/TH and Cyclone ML
220- 5 Terminaotrs with Bolters and PF
99 - 6 Tac Marines w/ ML
113- 7 Tac Marines w/ ML
75 - Land speeder Typhoon
75 - Land speeder Typhoon
140- Land speeder Vegence
140- Land speeder Vegence
180- Nephilim Jetfighter

1497 pts. I wanted to drop in Beliel and 5 bolter termies w/ deathwing assault taking advantage to TL bolter fire. Using one I can pick which turn 1 or 2 to bring in 1 unit, like I used to do with drop pods. I will drop them close to support so I dont get my HQ killed right away. My hammernators will be the center of my force to draw fire. I love TH/SS termies and they were awesome in 5th for fire soaking and handling Monsters. I know my tac squads would be better with a rhino but I have had some sucess foot slogging em so I will continue. LS Typhoon are for tac marine support further back away. I will keep all my speeders moving to use Jink. I love the idea of Heavy support land speeders and will focus them on infantry or light tank killing if needed. the Jetfighter is a must for me cause I love the model and love the idea of marines getting Air support. Im AF so it kinda fits for my army having air support. lol. the Jet figher will be tasked to other fighters or Tank busting. This list gives me flexibility and speed with vehicles. I always use termies, even in 1500 pt games.

If I am facing an army with 3 fighters I will have a dev squad with 4 ml and sky fire but at 1500 points 3 fighters will be expensive. I will also give my Tac squads sky fire.

I thought about getting rid on one land speeder typhoon for two rhinos and sending the 5 pts to another SS/TH termy for a total of 5. Probably will be better to give the tac marines a ride. lol

This army is meant to be fun for me to play with models I love. I think it is decent with the right general in command. What does everyone think?

The place where I can make adjustments is the vengence. what could I do to without the 280pts if I dont take 2 vengence speeders? I am buying the jet fighter this week. It will take me time to get the vengence speeders. I do have a land raider I could put in its place but not 100 sure.

Looking at dark angels myself and am playing my first game on Monday, 1500 deathwing.

My list is belial, and 4x5 man termie squads moving up supported by two vindicators and Im keen to see how it goes.

I think vindicators are better than the speeder vengeance, better armour, more hull points, cant kill itself from getshot, just as good weapon, and its cheaper. Thats my personal preference anyway.

i do like vindies. I just sold away my two vindies. I liked using them and the pie plate was sweet but they either did well or got taken care of early. Night fighting in 6th ed should help them get to targets. I wanted to try the vengence due to its speed and jink. I have 30 terminators and played them alot in 5th ed. when 6th ed came in I had to change out some of my hammernators to bolters and power fists. The price tag on them went up and the HQ is even more expensive. I desided to try an army with termies and tac marines. the tac marines in the new codex got better with the fact that 5 man squads can take heavy wpns. In your list the cost of the support vehicles is a big point maker. with this army I could swich out a couple of things. I guess If I wanted to go speeder spam I could go with 6 tyhpoons but I didn;t want to spam them and I dont have that many speeders.

Maybe I should add two fliers?

I would consider taking a 2 nephilims. 1 with the las cannon and 1 with the mega.

The option with out the las cannon has 7 s6 shots a turn and 3 twin links s5.

Thats 10 shots a turn most of which wound marines on 2 or 3+.

Also rear armor shots with one of these is pretty much death.

does the plasma battery hurt the speeder? wasn't sure about that. I have never played a vengence before.
