According to the BRB, a dedicated transport and the unit that has requisitioned it are considered one unit for the purposes of determining 50% reserves. What impact does this have on starting the transport on the board and the related troops in reserves? Obviously in 5th you had to start embarked, but that is no longer a problem. So?

You didn't have to start embarked in 5th.

In 6th, IF you choose to put the squad in the transport, they count as a single unit for the proposes of your reserves count. If you don't put them in the transport, then they are 2 separate units.

Or 4th. Dedicated transports are not as restrictive as people think
