For those of you who paint very well, can anyone offer me up some tips on how to paint them? Also what colors are used. Thanks

I see you are fairly new around these parts, this should be in the painting and modelling area, but I'm sure someone will sort that out for you.
As for ways to paint them, red can be a tricky colour to paint, when I began my Blood Angels I found this link very useful
http://www.thewaaaghstudios.com/tutorials/bapaint.html
It references old paint names but you can work out equivalents easy enough. Other than that, have a search round on google, and the tutorial section, there is an abundance of useful tips and tricks for painting all things Sanguine.

No worries, youtube is full of videos, the internet exploded with them after the new codex was released in 2010

I'm pretty lazy as a painter, so I prime mine white, then use testors flat red spray cans. It's a bright, flat red more along the lines of the classic blood angels red (blood red) as opposed to the newer, darker red that is popular. It's color #1250, and I've had great results with my BA figures and vehicles. The local hobby shops carry it in the smaller cans, and the coverage is solid, smooth and way faster than painting by brush. If you're looking for the classic bright red, it's a solid choice and damne near match for Blood Red (or evil suns red I think the new one is called by GW)

Yes, I'm going for basically the exact look of how they are portrayed in the 6th addition rule book. That seems bright red to me. But I could be wrong as I'm still a "noob"

I just posted a couple pics in my gallery of the BA using Testor's flat red spray over a white primer. Hopefully this gives you an idea of the color.

Will do, anything in particular that you want to see? Most of my guys and all my vehicles were painted using this paint, I think I've gone through like ten cans and bought three more last week. I haven't done any washes or highlights in the marines with this paint yet, but I do have some highlighting and washing on a predator and land raider.
