So this is just an odd question but I'd figure I'd ask. I'm a fan of the author Simon R Green and have wanted to do a count as army for some time. the problem is, many of his characters are extremely detailed and I really don't want to screw anything up. However one of the series of characters are called droods (pronounced druids), fighting evil and all in suits of golden armour. They tend to favor melee but do often use ranged weaponry and are incredibly powerful. My question is, what army do you think would fit them best? My first thought is grey knights but if you have any better ideas I'd love to hear them. They do have a few characters so having IC in the army isn't too much a problem. Thanks in advance

blood angles --- Sanguinary guard, with Commander Dante to make them troops. there shooting is short but they are 2+ jump troops - get a preast n they go feel-no-pain

grey nights have some great shooting. n if I think you are talking about the same book im thinking about taking some really shooty golden grey nights would be spot on for attachments like the dread night or a few venerable dreadnought with 2 twin-linked str 8 auto-cannons with a total of 4 shots XD

... what is the book?
