So as I finished putting my Sammael on Corves model together I noticed something. The stick that comes with the flying base and the hole on the bottom of corvex are entirely different sizes, in that the hole on corvex is too large.

So im hunting for interesting ways to give Sammael a removable base, thoughts?

I've never done any of this so bear with my suggestion...

Get a flier base and model Sammel the way you want above the base...

Example; out of the codex, put orks on the flier base and model Sammael higher up as if he was dropping down on the orks?

Is there a ball-and-socket piece that came with the model? if so, the socket end is supposed to be on the jetbike. otherwise, use a rare earth magnet.

Unfortunatly it didn't, it looks like the mold for it was off or something, ill have to look into the magnet path

Some Tomb World in some galaxy by that one thing in that one place (or Minnesota for nosy people)

magnets are generally the best way to put your models on flying bases because lets face it. GW flying bases suck

they break too often half the time the mold for the model is either too small of a hole or too big and you end up having to wing it with a bit of GS or bore out a hole hoping you dont make it too big

I cut the stick down a bit and then cut the hole bigger until it was snug on the stick. works perfectly now.
