I am fairly new, and mostly only play a CSM player. He regularly employs 3 Obliterators, a lot of plasmas along with Typhus, Plague Marines, and a 30 squad of zombies.
The tactic I use here is to Blast him apart with my Doomsday ark, while using the Doomscythe to force him to have to redirect his Oblits fire to it. The Spyders take 2 turns to produce 6 extra bases of scarabs. And I then use them to tie down an Obliterator. The Lords I feel like are a must have to help curb the face stomping Typhus almost always does in CC with my troops. The x3 Fab arrays are to help a repair here and a repair there after they finish producing scarabs and move to melee with the lord. (To help give him the Nul from the Gloom Prism)

Obviously I'm new and surely have some flawed logic. But my question is, I like crypteks, but would they be more effective instead of lords? And do you think the stalkers marking and almost garuntee 2 kills. Worth the 150 or is it better to have those split to boosting the Warriors numbers? Open to all sorts of suggestions. Thanks in advance.

If you like the Doomsday Arc I say stick with the Stalker, they play well together. I personally like the Heavy Gauss better on the Stalker because I like to keep him far back on the flanks as much as possible.

The Tesseract Labyrinth can be very situational, but as you're primarily facing a Typhus list I can definitly see it being regularly useful for you.

You probably don't need more then two claws either, and then you can stick on Spyder with no upgrades in front to be the first ablative wounds.

I wouldn't recommend putting Res Lords in a unit less then around 200 points or so. As is I would swap them with Lanceteks probably, and with the spare points get a bit more troop action:

Doomscythe 175

Canoptek Spyders x3 195
-Gloom Prism
-Fabricator Array x2

Total 1500

Oh, and the Phase Shifter on the Overlord might not be needed much (you'll have to judge from your own experience though), maybe swap that with a second group of scarabs so you could build and send them in 2 waves?
