Ok guys here's a new tournament list I'm thinking of trying to run. It's a 1500 pt tournament. As always let me know what you think.

Banner of devastation with only 11 bolters? really whats the point?. Two scoring units one not at full strength attack bike would be a easy first blood as it is on his own your command squad is expensive as soon as one of those die it is going to hurt and why have the champion in there the last thing you want is for that unit to be in combat. Flakk Missile on a tac squad cannot really see the point would you be shooting at flyers and wasting the rest of your salvo bolter shots? yes it gives you a option but for 25pts I cannot see the benefit.

You have over a third of your army spent on 5 models all in the HQ slot. At least drop out the dread for another tac squad imo.

Instead of the tac squad have thought of scout snipers? That would give you more points for another rw troop choice and you can just throw them in cover. Plus you can still have the missile launcher if you like. I like dreads too, so keep him IMO. What was the strat for the tac squad out of curiosity?

Don't spend so much on your HQs. 2 at 1500 is frankly a bit silly in a marine army. Either do Ravenwing or don't. Save some objective sitters, there's no point of tac marines in the list.

The dreadnought is cute with his lower points by no typhoons? Why man why!?

I you're going to run the devastation banner with full ravenwing you need the darkshroud. With this configuration you start with your shroud los blocking the command squad, all the bike squads get a model within 6" of the banner and the shroud.

Your speeders open up any transport and attack bikes nuke any big tanks. You then open up with 72 twinlinked bolter shots at 24".

Do not take Relic Banners if you're not forming a list around it. Ever.

You are going to want to remove the individual upgrades points costs in the OP. That is against forum rules.

Opps thought I nicked all the points out of the post lol.

I actually have 2 ravenwing squads in there and the tac squad. The idea was to use the rhino and combat squad the tac with the flamer and go grab any objectives that an opponent may toss into ruins.

I hadn't thought of scout snipers I'll look into that I have a few laying around somewhere.
