hey guys, I want to make some models of "brains in jar" to represent some psykers,

Im thinking small jars filled with resin and green stuff brains, ala head in a jar on futurama,

any other suggestions, ideas?

i'd go one step further and have the jar attached to some giant robot spider or something

There's lots of ways you could go about it, depending on the look you want. Slightly tinted water effects in a clear acrylic tube, with the brain model painted beforehand and then submerged while the watereffects are solidifying, so you don't need a pin or anything would be my attempt. And you could have the jar attached to whatever, as already suggested.

Or, just buy these...

2-part epoxy which you can buy at the hardware store or craft store can dry 'clear' and can be mixed, poured into something and make an 'ok' liquid effect. Not as good as water, but does work well for slime pools and such. You can even mix paint in for color.

EPIC 40k tanks also make good tracks for mini robots. brain in jar + tracks = rolling robot head thing.
