So today i finally got my finecrap, i mean finecast model of vulkan, he looks brilliant, but there is one problem

On his flamer the little s picket, that is where the igniter would go broke off, would you all take it back and ask for it to be replaced? or would you just try and glue it back on.

To many unpainted models to count.

Depends on how hard it is to try and glue it back on and how far the GW store is.

Call the 1-800 gw number. Tell them the issue they will likely send a new one and let you keep the old. I have had this happen with missing parts and my friends have had lots of Failcast problems solved this way.

Seeing as how it is a tiny piece that might end up very hard to glue I would contact GW before trying to ix it, if you do and find it too hard/not working/whatever then they have grounds to not replace it.

Oh, I certainly vote with my dollar, but the problem is that that is not enough. The problem with the 'vote with your dollar' response is that it doesn't take into account why we're not buying the product. I want to enjoy 40k enough to buy back in. It was my introduction to traditional games, and there was a time when I enjoyed it very much. I want to buy 40k, but Gamesworkshop is doing their very best to push me away, and simply not buying their product won't tell them that.

GW has some pretty good customer service, so you should call them and ask for a replacement.

The thing is, you know it's there. If your anything like me you'll always know its there and it'll bother ya. Why pay through the nose for that feeling? I got the same thing with my asmodai. I'm on my second and don't intend to stop until he's 100% perfect.

I bought the Dark Vengeance Limited Edition starter box. When I opened it, Seraphicus had his 'smoking chimneys' on his backpack, broken off - probably due to bad handling, I dunno.

I e-mailed GW regarding this but I didn't get any reply from them.

So I ended up fixing it myself... seems ok so far!

Update: Called GW this morning, and MAN they have the best customer service i have ever seen, like not being sarcastic here haha, just told them the his flamer on his gauntlet was broken, they asked for my name and address and they said we will ship a replacement one out and you should see it within 8-10 business days.

Did not ask for a proof of purchase, nor proof of damage, just super speedy, friendly, and honest business

GW has amazing customer service. Miscast? We'll replace it! Accidentally ordered something? Refund!

But they're still expensive.

Come to think of it, I haven't ever heard anyone complain about their costumer service. In fact, it has always been praised.

When was this?! I put a Monolith together about a month ago with their plastic glue and instead of melting the plastic together it was falling apart in a week and all the pieces were covered in this hard brittle granular glue that I've had to try and scrape off. I went into the store where I bought the glue and all they said was - "Yeah I've heard that's been happening to a lot of people..."

I had an issue with a SM suppression force set I won on eBay, which GW doesn't make anymore, was missing three parts from two of the sprues for the Rhinos. Called customer service, and after about ten days, I had two complete sprues. GW has great customer service.

my wife bought me the Imperial City kit when it first came out - the one with the 4-5 buildings in it. The Manufactorum floor set was somehow crushed before packaging. the walls were perfect but I was kinda Po'd cause she spent so much and it was damaged. Called GW customer service and offered to ship back the damaged floor sprue in exchange for an undamaged one and was advised that they would not do that. Instead, they sent me a complete Manufactorum box ! in the middle 90's i bought a Predator tank with the metal side sponsons. One was missing and customer service sent me 4! (this was when they had an actual Bitz service. They seem to have this part of the business down pat. Call them and they will make it right for you.

Well, kronic said it was because of defected glue, so if it's just because of the fact that you've used GW glue instead of any other then they probably won't replace your models. You'll just have to glue them back together with some Tamiya glue or zap-a-gap.
