Expansion: Feast Of Blades by Thesanguinesword (V3.0)
What is Feast Of Blades about?:
Feast of Blades is a mini game/expansion within the Warhammer 40,000 game, it is unofficial and fan made. The Feast Of Blades is a tournament held every century by the Space Marines, each chapter that participates must choose a champion from within their ranks, then the champions fight each other in a selection of games designed to prove which champion is the greatest.
What's so amazing about it?: Well, it allows you to play as your own space marine, design him and do things you've never been able to do before in Warhammer 40,000. All new features including honour duels, team death match and a horde mode add to Warhammer 40,000's already massive amount of gameplay!
How do I play it?:
In Feast Of Blades you take control of one of these champions, Champions cost 35 points, however you have access to a armoury, which allows you to customise your champion with a variety of Wargear including: Ranged weapons, Melee weapons, Chapter relics, doctrines and abilities. At the beginning of a game the players must decide the maximum cost of their champion, a reasonable amount of points would be around 65 points of Wargear, however using the armoury it is possible to create champions with up to 250 points of Wargear, with that lets get started with making your Champion:

Special Rules: And they shall know no fear.
Options:
May Replace Chainsword with any weapon from the Melee weapons list.

May replace power armour with any armour from the Defence Wargear list.
May take 2 items from the accessories Wargear list.
May take 1 doctrine from the doctrines Wargear list.
May take up to 3 items from the abilities list.
May take up to 3 minions of the same type, only available in games with the special rule: Minions.

* Remember if you take a 2 handed weapon you can still take a one handed weapon however you cannot use both weapons in one turn (e.g: Shoots Bolt Pistol at target, then charges and uses a Relic Blade, this is not allowed.)

Duel: The first competition in the Feast Of Blades, in this champions fight duels in order to progress through the tournament.

Battlefield: Arena (Skyshield Landing Pad)
Objective: Slay enemy champion.
Turns: 5
Special Rules: Paralytic Poison.
Deep Strike: no.
Paralytic Poison: This follows the same rules as the K.O rule but champions get back up on a 6, rather than a 4 as the poison stops them from getting back up.
Team Deathmatch: In the second competition of the Feast of Blades 2 teams of champions face off against each other.
Players: 2-12
Champions: 2-6 per side, both sides must have the same amount of champions.
Champion Limit: 125 points
Objective: eliminate enemy team.
Battlefield: One board tile ( 2 feet by 2 feet)
Special Rules: none.
Deep Strike: yes
Horde: In this round champions are forced to fight waves of enemies, the last man standing wins.
Players: 2-12
Champions: 1 each
Champion Limit: 200 points
Objective: Kill more enemies and survive longer than the others.
Battlefield: one board section per player. Each player takes on the horse separately, so if you had 3 players then you would need 30 Orks and a nob for each board.

30 Ork boyz, 1 Nob with Power Klaw.
Wave two:
20 Eldar Guardians, 1 Warlock, Scatter Laser.

Guardsman Platoon: 3 Guardsmen squads, 1 Heavy Weapons Squad with 3 Heavy Bolters. Command Squad ( no upgrades), Leman Russ Vanquisher (Hull Heavy Bolter, no sponsons).

5 Assault Terminators (Lightning Claws), Captain (Terminator Armour, Power Sword, Storm Shield), Land Raider Redeemer (Multi-Melta, Hunter Killer Missile).

The Avatar of Khaine.
Free For All: In this game, the champions must fight each other, all of them must fight unto the bitter end.
Players: 2-6
Champions: 1 each
Champion Limit: 250 points
Battlefield: 4 board sections, 4 feet by 4 feet. 3 terrain pieces.
Objective: Survive! And kill all enemy champions. 1 point per kill. 5 for surviving.

Apocalyptic duel: In this contest a Champion must defeat a legendary monster in order to win.

Greater Good: Tau faction expansion to the Feast Of Blades add-on.
A recent addition to Tau tradition, the Feast for the Greater Good is a contest held within the Fire Caste, during the contest each Sept sends it's best champions to complete challenges to find out who is the greatest living Tau warrior.
In Greater Good players play as Tau Firewarriors instead of Space Marines, they use the following rules and have access to the Tau Armoury. Note they use all the same mission types as FoB.

Tau Armoury:
*NOTE: XV15's grant stealth in GG and XV25's grant Shrouded. Also both XV15 and XV25 come with a Burst Cannon, but may upgrade to any one weapon from the Ranged Weapons (Battlesuit) list.
XV84's come with a Smart Missile System on the shoulders.
XV88's come with a Twin-Linked Railgun on the shoulders and stabilisers.
