Level5 + Studio Ghibli = critical success

I've read about it, and it looks nice, but I'm not that interested in it. Might be the style, despite the fact that it looks really nice. But then again, I don't really like Japanese games.

This is a "Tales of ..." style JRPG with Pokemon combat set in a Studio Ghibli film. If you don't like Japanese games, by all means steer well clear of this one.

I was thinking

"Is this a movie thats a video game, or a video game that is also a movie!"

But yea if you do not like JRPGs and anime, then you probably shouldnt bother.

And the puns....argh so many!

One particularly annoying mechanic imo is that if you grind too much in a certain area, then the enemies will run away from you. Pretty hard to catch up to enemies in the world map.

Still though it is very cool that Studio Ghibli is moving into video games.

Huh. I always loved the Studio Ghibli movies. May have to give this one a try!

I have been keeping an eye on this for awhile, but the backlog of other games is to great at the moment to get at it now.

Be careful about letting games slip you by. I get them and then play them when I can. I just now got around to my second play through of New Vegas and my first play through of StarCraft II.
