Hey

Got a game coming up and i though i'd try something different, i normally roll with the following list (Pre 6th)

CCS
autocannon

Vet Squad, 3x melta - Chimera
Vet Squad, 3x Plasma - Harker

LR Executioner

LR Punisher

LR Demolisher

Now getting back into the swing of things for 6th and looking to mix things up a bit with the following

Primaris Psyker

Inf Platoon
PCS, Assault Cannon
Inf Squad
Inf Squad
HWS 3x Missile launcher

Vet Squad, 3x Plasma - Harker

LR Executionar

Manticore, Flamer

LR Punisher

The points are pretty much 1k or less on each list (didn't have codex to hand) on the second list i was trying to use the Inf Platoon to flesh out the bodies in play as much as possible, basic tactics are to Infiltrator Harker and the Vets, popping off whatever they can. The Inf squads then run up and take any objectives, with the HWS and Tanks covering from the back

Any tips?

Two russes and an artillery piece is pretty formidable, but I think you could get away with just the russes. Those points lost from the manticore could be used to give your infantry some very badly needed weapon upgrades, and some sponsons for those russes. It will give you more killing power over all.

Is it really worth upgrading an average trooper with special weaponry?

In this list there aim is to be a cheap blob used to run to objectives

I was thinking of maybe instead of dropping the manticore(kind of want that as a good hybrid anti tank, anti blob machine) i would drop the punisher in favour of maybe ratling snipers, upgrades and some left over

I'm also not so sure of the Psyker, could possibly swap that for a CCS with a lascannon or auto cannon?

I've been wanting to use a primaris psyker in my infantry blob, but the main problem I saw was that he doesn't give stubborn to the squads.
